As we noticed during the US presidential campaign, the Republican Donald Trump declared several times that he’s against the war in the world and promised to make change if he wins the elections. After winning the election with most votes over his opponent Hilary Clinton under the slogan “we will make America GREAT again” the president-elect Donald Trump continued to support his ideas and he promises to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as step forward to settle peace and stop the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

The Radical-right Ambassador, David Friedman is very excited to start his new position and work for peace in the Middle East and promises to bring a radical change in American policy in the region.
David Friedman declared that he will "strengthen the unbreakable bond between our two countries and advance the cause of peace within the region, and look forward to doing this from the U.S. embassy in Israel's eternal capital, Jerusalem."

During his speech at an Israeli embassy Hanukkah party in Washington, Ron Dermer Israel's top diplomat in the United States declared: “The reasons why the United States should move the embassy I think are pretty clear,", according to Politico. "The first thing, it would send a strong message against the de-legitimization of Israel and of Jerusalem.... The second reason why I think the embassy should be moved to our capital is that it would be a great step forward to peace. That's right. A great step forward to peace”. As a result, the new president-elect will be in a powerful position and boost his administration. On the other hand this decision will rang the alarm bell and temper the Palestinians negotiators.
In fact, the Palestinians' top negotiator, Saeb Erekat, reacted promptly and said that the consequences will be all but not peace, in case the United States moves the embassy to Jerusalem. “David Friedman is a very well-known extreme right wing supporter of settlers, supporter of annexation of East Jerusalem… This is a disaster,” Saeb Erekat stated following the appointment of Friedman as the Israeli Ambassador to the United States on December 15.
The roots of Israeli-Palestinian conflict can be traced to the late 19th century and new policies need to be set up to maintain a lasting peace between the two states.
