10 weird theme parks you may visit in your life

If you are one of traveling fans, you may visit these weird places.

1. Love Land in "South Korea"

Since 2004, the Love Land located on the island of Jeju, an accepted destination for honeymooners, Love Land is an open-air sensual sculpture park. About 140 oeuvres portray humans and animals in numerous explicit erotic positions. In the modern world, this would probably look like a pornography scene but in retrospect, it was created to teach newlyweds who were in arranged marriages how to go about sex in marriage.

With a beautiful lake and the sculptures, it is an ideal place for lovers to hang out, considering there are practical, like the self-pleasuring bicycle.

2. Shijingshan Amusement Park in "China"

At Shijingshan Amusement Park, people used to hang out with some of the most famous kid's characters like Mickey Mouse, Shrek, Bugs Bunny, Betty Boop, Hello Kitty. The amusement park was a sight to behold from the time it was opened in 1986 up until 2007 when it was noted that the characters used had a copyright to them that the owners had not considered. When questioned, the owners claimed that the characters were brought to life from Grimm’s Fairy Tales, however, they forgot that a while earlier, they had put up a banner above the entrance that read “Disney Is Too Far, Please Come to Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park.” The park is dead now, considering it was active for a long while with kids running all over daily. Most of the facilities are either broken or malfunctioned. It’s not any fun anymore so if you’re going there, you should probably not expect to get on a ride or anything. You’d be disappointed!

3. Bollywood Parks in "Dubai"

Dubai is making great strides at offering the best in the entertainment industry and opening a Bollywood theme park in 2016 is just one of them. On roughly 1.7 million square feet, fans get to enjoy 20 daily live shows and 16 rides and cinematic attractions on A 3-D ride called “Sholay: The Hunt for Gabbar Singh” arms you with laser guns, while the “Dabangg: Stunt Spectacular Show” recreates a police chase in a spectacle complete with bullets and explosions. All these is in five different zones inspired by Bollywood's finest movie hits, Mumbai’s famous movie industry is celebrated with In the Royal Plaza Zone, the Rajmahal Theatre is home to Broadway-style Bollywood musical Jaan-e-Jigar. The park also boasts of in-house restaurants which major in giving the finest there is to Indian food.

4. Harmony Land in "Japan"

In this theme park in Kyushu, Oita region, it’s all about prevalent Japanese kids’ characters such as Hello Kitty, Cinnamon, and My Melody. Kids or some of us who are kids at heart get delights, like the awesome Kitty Castle, where Kitty Stays. Enjoy a boat ride with various Sanrio characters onboard! Past features like the Cinnamon Café, this has an inviting aroma to it. There is an actual parade with actual floats and live half-hour shows are held every day, including the “Time Machine of Dreams.” If you go there on your birthday, the characters get to sing you a song and invite you on stage, which is pretty cool. The place also has go-karts, a sky jet ride, a carousel, a Ferris wheel, and a ninja trial, an athletics obstacle course and if you’re into tech, you can make your own kitty robot.

5. Parque Jaime Duque in "Colomia"

At Parque Jaime Duque, an amusement park and zoo just north of Bogota, you can travel the world in just 80 minutes. How? The park features models of cultural attractions from around the world, although not how you know them. Some of these reproductions are quite peculiar and have little in common with the original ones they are inspired from—such as the male, naked, and touchless Statue of Liberty. The park was opened in 1983, was a contribution of aviation pioneer Jaime Duque Grisailles to the people of Colombia. All the proceeds from it were to go into helping poor people and others who generally needed help.

In addition to the zoo and rides, the park features an aviary, a bio-park, and a sculpture garden with 700 peculiar statues including the popular Hand of God and a boat ride named Dante’s Inferno. Another brow raising feature is the wall painting of the Colombia hand of freedom, which is inside the Taj Mahal

6. Haw Par Villa in "Singapore"

The Haw Par Villa is another one that seeks to show the public the importance of morality, although in barbaric ways. Where else can you see a tax evader crushed by a stone mallet, or an executioner disemboweling a student caught cheating on an exam?

It was built in 1937 but the public could only access it for free in 2001, the theme park contains more than 1,000 statues and dioramas depicting a gruesome and bizarre re-creation of the afterlife. As one walks past the depictions of Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian folklore, emotions and reactions can change from curious to horrified in the shift of an eye. The highlight of Haw Par Villa is the Ten Courts of Hell, which depicts some jaw-dropping sculptures and depictions of just what the afterlife holds for those who have been misbehaving. After years of neglect, the park is currently undergoing refurbishment and is due to reopen in April 2017.

7. Suối Tiên Theme Park in "Vietnam"

Welcome to heaven! Located on a sacred site on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, this water-run fantasy is a clear depiction of the best things that await one in the afterlife, based on the history and teachings of Buddha. A giant frog surrounded by elephant tusks stands guard at the gates to Suối Tiên while inside, larger-than-life Buddha statues and sacred animals like dragons, tortoises, unicorns, and phoenixes stand next to regular attractions like water slides, roller coasters, waterfalls, and a Ferris wheel. There is also a paintball area, laser tag, a crocodile farm with about 1,500 crocodiles (which you can feed), and a dolphin and sea lion show. One of Suối Tiên’s top attractions is the ride through 18 Gates of Hell (also known as Unicorn Palace), which is only fair for comparison to the good life. Filled with screams from repenting sinners, this is one place guaranteed to make your blood curd.

8. IÅ¡gyvenimo Drama in "Lithuania"

This is for those who cannot get enough from the books and need to feel what it felt like to live in the communist regime. IÅ¡gyvenimo Drama, translated as Survival Drama, will take you back into a disused Soviet bunker from 1984. This chronological, interactive practice takes place 16 feet underground and participants are made to become USSR citizens for a period of two and half hours. They are herded through the bunker without personal belongings and in prisoners’ uniforms under the watchful eye of former KGB officers and real dogs. They also have to sign a wager that declares they are willing participants and any form of disobedience will result in punishment.” Activities include wearing gas masks, learning the Soviet anthem under duress, doing manual labor, and even undergoing medical checks. This is definitely a weird one, considering all this is done with your consent and after such an experience; it is hard to forget it.

9. BonBon-Land in "Denmark"

Located about 65 miles from Copenhagen, BonBon-Land might be the world’s largest Candyland. In the 1980s, a candy factory in Holme-Olstrup decided to create a line of candy and give them some contemptible names as seagull droppings, ear wax, and dog fart. Naturally, children were rather captivated by the weird confectionary and since the factory could not stay open after hours, BonBon-Land was brought to a lifer in 1992. The amusement park, which features over 60 rides, is rampant with depictions of some pretty gross actions such as sculptures of vomiting rodents, pooping dogs, and urinating ants. Try the Dog Farting Rollercoaster which takes you through massive mounds of poo, accompanied by a matching soundtrack. Astoundingly, the park is very popular in the country; with an estimated have a million people going in annually, which means they are not really disgusted by it.

10. Crocosaurus Cove in "Australia"

Crocosaurus Cove in Darwin, Australia, is not strictly a theme park, but more like an urban wildlife experience. However, its “Cage of Death”, one of its most popular attractions involves people getting into a 9-foot acrylic tank and come face-to-face with a 16-foot-long deadly crocodile. You can make faces at it because you’re protected by the glass as it tries to break it and eat you. Crocosaurus Cove has the world’s most impressive exhibition of Australian reptiles and a 44,000-gallon freshwater aquarium home to barramundi, archer fish, turtles, and whip rays. Other activities include a photo-op with a baby crocodile, the Big Croc Feed Show, and fishing for crocs, where spectators dangle food over young crocodiles from a platform.
