76ers de Philadelphie to sign Redick with a contract of 1 year and 23 M $
J.J. Redick joint in Philadelphia 76ers for a one year agreement of a value of 23 million dollars, according to a report published.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN initially reported the business and Redick, 33 years, confirmed the signature on its Twitter account Saturday, by writing “Trust the process” - a reference to the slogan of reconstitution of the 76ers.
“It is there that I wanted to be”, declared Redick with ESPN about the signature.
The veteran fencer was attracted by the prospect to play with the young talents of Philadelphia and in the system of the trainer Brett Brown, by Wojnarowski.
Redick moved recently its house in on the east side after having spent the four last seasons with Los Angeles Clippers, on average from 15.8 points, and drew 44.0% on a fork from 3 points.
The former player of Duke played his first six seasons with Orlando Magic of 2006-07 to 2012-13 before being exchanged in Milwaukee Bucks. He signed like free agent with the Clippers the following season.
Redick recorded on average 11.9 points in 690 matches over 11 seasons NBA.
The 76ers also add the veteran Amir Johnson on a one year agreement, 11 million dollars, reports of Wojnarowski. Johnson, 30 years, spent the two last seasons with Boston Celtics, on average 6.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 80 matches last season.
