Volkswagen Passat is now available to order in the United Kingdom with options of a petrol engine.

Until now, VW offered diesel energy in its family truck and its field, whereas the only version petrol was the hybrid cheap Passat GTE.
But now, the rest of the range obtains the power of the petrol, whereas VW introduced its 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TSI with four cylinders into the range.
The TSI 1.4 is provided in 125PS and 150PS, which makes 123bhp and 148bhp respectively, while the last comprises Activates Cylinder Technology (ACT) which cuts two cylinders under light loads to increase fuel consumption.
The two models are equipped with a manual gearbox at six speeds, while the DSG at seven speeds of VW is available in option on the two cars. The STI 1.4 is offered in all the Passat range, including the sporting decorations R-Line for the first time.
Higher, there is one 1.8 TSI 180PS with 178bhp and 2.0 TSI 220PS which makes 217bhp. The TSI 1.8 is offered with an auto-box to six speeds manual or DSG to seven speeds, while an automatic box DSG at six speeds is standard on the engine 2.0 liters. These two engines are available only in the trimmings WP and R-Line.
