A New Zealand tourist was killed by the blast of a plane of a jetliner taking off in an airport of the seaside in the territory of the Dutch Caribbean of Sint Maarten, indicated the persons in charge.
The 57-year-old woman was struck in a wall whereas it tried to cling to a fence to feel the breath earlier this week, declared the police.
The video posted on Facebook showed that the ancillary medical ambulance men tried without success to start again it, and the police declared that the woman was taken along to the hospital, where it was declared died.
The director of tourism of Sint Maarten, Rolando Brison, declared at New Zealand Herald that it had presented his condolences to the family of the woman.
“I met the family of late this evening and, while recognizing that what they did was false, through the clearly visible signs of danger, they consider it regrettable that the risk that they took is unrolled worse possible manner”, Mr. Brison declared.
“At that time, I only wish to express my greater sympathy with the family and with your close relations whereas we continue to inquire into what occurred a few hours ago.
“I did not want to pose to them too many questions at this time, I wanted only that they know that we are there for them”.
James Brackenridge Tuli, a tourist who was also on the beach, declared that it was an excellent tourist attraction, but that people were to pay attention.
“What occurred is really sad”, he declared.
The police declared that hundreds of tourists are unaware of regularly multiple panels of warning not to be held with the fence with the international airport Princess Juliana, which is with less than 60 meters of the beach on the tiny territory.
A number of videos on YouTube show the enthusiasts for big thrills which are held close to the fence and endeavor to resist the explosions of the planes when they land and take off.
The local authorities declared that dozen had been wounded these last years by the explosions of jet, but it was the first time that somebody died.
